d181sp1 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Having problems off and on with the endorsement system. It will work for a while and then again, it won't. When it's not working for me it'll say things like I haven't had the file long enough, I haven't downloaded the file, something about a cool off period, etc. Is this a known bug or something? Thanks
Pronam Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Could you elaborate that a bit. Does it say you didn't download it, or didn't you download it yet and haven't waited the amount of time required to vote..There could be an extra 15 min cool off indeed.

It says any one of those at any given time. For example, I downloaded a mod yesterday and was logged in when I did so but today I can't give it a thumbs up. I tried several times and I received the haven't waited long enough one. Tried again and got hit with the you haven't downloaded this file. Tried again and was slapped with the cool off one. Tried again and got another but I don't recall what it was. This just happens sometimes on my downloads. I like to show appreciation for the modders hard work but maybe two or three times a month this happens. I'll never be able to rate this file for some reason. Sometimes it just glitches on me.

d181sp1 Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 The ones I can't rate don't show up in my download list. One of the error messages is that I can't rate the file because I haven't downloaded it. But I have...
Pronam Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Do you login/logout often? Or it might be wise to clear your Cookies...(If you know howto you could just delete the ones from tesnexus when you view cookies) It might be that a cookie got corrupted and doesn't log you in all the time or just might be rogue at all.
d181sp1 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 I have Firefox set to clear out all cookies upon closing the browser. Thanks for the suggestion though.
d181sp1 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 Just downloaded it again and maybe it'll work this time.
d181sp1 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 Downloaded it again and it let me rate it this time. Thanks for the suggestions though.
