Creating New Signs {shop or city }

Ive been looking for a tutorial on how to make new shop or inn signs but I cant find one.I checked on cs.elderscrolls.com and i googled it but i cant find any.Anyone know of one ? Thanks :thanks:

You'll need a texturing program, like GIMP or Photoshop. This tutorial can get you started with the basics;

*the TR tool is a bit outdated, but still might be preferred for those daunted by the Nifscope interface*

 

For instances where you need a new background, or need to fit a different frame, I would suggest using;

to give you an isolated shop graphic to work from. Using that graphic and some basic knowledge of a given texture program, you can insert the one you want, adjust scale, coloring, put a background behind it, add text, add shading and other finer details, and get a good result.

Thanks but how do i get the words to get that color.I have gimp 2 and i made a textbox over the sign then tried to color it and the whole box got colored?It looks quite odd when the backround is black.Lol
