Saynosin
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac226/ffximmortal/ScreenShot0.jpg Ok well it isn't really causing problems, and I hope it doesn't its just it looks real off and I was wondering if it was due to a mistake I may have made installing it. Also to save forum space and not be a spammer ...Last night I was doing a quest for that girl in the saloon(actually shes right next to our mixed gentleman) and about an hour or so into the quest the game just shut down. Is this a mod causing the crash or like oblivion does fallout have a tendency to crash at random points lol? thanks for your time and responses. jaysus
yup fallout crashes as did oblivion, just for funthe skin texture bug is also common, you need to change some funky line in one of your fallout inis to make it dissappear or at least fix the mod that dude came from
Saynosin
Ah so look forward to frequent crashes eh? Also if anyone has any info on which line I need to edit and what to put there that would be appreciated since I have no experienced editing code lol
csb
bArchiveInvalidation (or close enough, a text search will find it) the value should be 1 and not 0. If you are using Timeslip's Fallout Mod Manager (and you should be!), click the "Toggle invalidation" button.
TheChan
I feel stupid for not noticing the guys arms right off the bat. I thought you were talking about his face.
csb
As for Fallout3 crashing ... I suspect the devs put in a getRandomCrash(int Random()) function so they could stay employed after the last DLC. :D Correct load order of mods and using FO3Edit to find and resolve mod conflicts can minimize the crash issue. A must-have utility IMO is ElminsterAU's FO3Edit and you'll want Miax's great FO3Edit Guide - Web-enized to learn how to find and resolve your conflicts.
