Pronam
Lol, second explanation day. A bump is a post that intends to push up, or 'bump' a topic to get more attention towards. So if this topic were is a few pages back someone usually attempts another time. Bumping isn't allowed simply because it's abused. Let's say someone posted at a time none responds and after a day or two none responds it would be fine to ask things again or with more information fill up a request/question. But most of the time it's less than a day to less to an hour in which the people posting it are just/almost 'demanding' to get an answer on their usually easy solved questions/request or impossible request, while they are pushing off other topics which someone misses because of it..which may be solved or been done. You're actually trying to put your topic to the importance and therefore deny other people their topics to be seen. Lol, the bump here was a good example..The lesson is that as this is a global-community and not an IM, people aren't always around, things take a while, people are already busy on writing a message or they'll post when they have something ready. With the time-zones in place it could take 12 hours or more before someone could answer, not to mention real life that gets involved.

Hellsing179
Ah, never heard the official description lol. But i mostly just wanted to know if he was still working on it. I got no idea how long model making takes lol. Since he didn't post after the first bump i figured that he forgot about it.
Pronam
lol, the official one would even have been longer. But the thing is that sending a pm is always more effective as at default they'll get a notification of it at their e-mail. Put that aside, it's just better not calling it a bump but simply ask if there is any progress. Modeling can take quite some time indeed...
