AcerMore
I have 238 mods running and one of them keeps popping this up as I walk and once EVERY hour that I sleep. That's a lot of clicking it off and it breaks the mood. Has anyone heard of this before from a certain mod? I tried Google but that phrase doesn't show up. I don't wish to try all the combinations... (it's hard to type when a cat walks over and lays down on your hands, isn't it.) Thanks
Pronam
It's probably caused by a mod, perhaps an active quest of one of those is bugging or just a mod in general that's bugging. If you want to check which on it is deactivate 50 mods a time. (don't save/play on as it'll screw up your game when you got for that many at once. just use it too check.) then disable 10, then each one until you've find the mod that's bugging. Posting your load order might help too.
duh13
Here's the problem... 238 MODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE SO MANY?!?!?!?!You might as well make your own game if your going to mess it up that much. Sorry, I don't know how to fix your problem.Maybe if you have Oblivion Mod Manager you can run a conflict test.

Megatarius
Well, you could try disabling borders in the ini. I know you're not crossing them, but perhaps the bug is calling that part of the game's script. Otherwise, you might just have to disable different ones at a time until you find the problem, like people have said. I once had a problem where I couldn't ask guards directions. I turned out it was a hunting mod that must have been dirty.
AcerMore
Thanks for the replies: I was hoping not to have to test the mods but I'll do the '50 at the same time' thing. By-the-way, I have so many mods because I believe the Game Companies release their games unfinished now knowing that the Modders will complete the job for them--saves them money, you see? Think I'll post that as a separate topic. Found it! (Sort of.) It's called 'Townv2.esp' 558 KB Author=DEFAULT the only trouble is I don't have such a mod (must be part of a bigger mod--I turned it off but what mod it's in I don't know and I don't feel like trying to find it especially with a lot of them being Omods.) I put that in Google and found one other listing of Townv2.esp--right here in a list by someone having a different problem back in August.
