castanova Posted April 19, 2014 Share Posted April 19, 2014 Hey guys, first time ever doing this, and I don't know how many would like the idea, but here it goes. I enjoy having a character with set-up backgrounds when playing Fallout and other RPG'S. Whether it be where they are from, what childhood they had, what brought them to where they are now etc. I don't know how many mods like this are; obviously you've got mods like the Niner which talk about it, but I feel there's never chance to create your own personal background story for YOUR courier, and create a unique and immersive experinece. The way I think this could be done is through having a companion. Obviously you'll do a fair amount of questioning about their past, but I think it will good for them to question you about yours. Through the consequences of quests and dialogue options, the player will be able to build their own history. I've never done any modding before, but I am currently doing a Writing course at my university. If anyone is interested in helping write it and also put it into the game, that would be awesome.
