Mages Quest Still Broken

Im trying here again. Every stage of the Mages quest I try to complete, the game keeps crashing every time I open the door to a new dungeon. And by crashing I mean it terminally CTDs and will not work until I do other adventuring try again later - although there is no consistent way to make this work. I don't know what is solving the problem. What I can tell you is that I do not believe it is due to missing content or a conflict per se because it doesnt' matter whether I enter a cave or a dungeon, whether there are plants, animals or it is empty. The game simply just doesn't want to load dungeons related to the mages quests. Even if I get it to work to let me into the dungeon, if the dungeon had multiple levels, it crashes when I try to get to the next level. It makes absolutely no sense at all. The only mini-quest not broken was the castle related one (I don't want to say more to avoid spoiling). It doesn't make any sense.

 

 

If you have any specific advice related to this specific issue please comment. General comments such as reinstalling and general conflicts advice will not apply here, though I do appreciate your willing to help. thanks very much.

 

Oh, Im using an I-720, with 9GB Ram, GTX 260, Vista Premium 64bit.
