Squiggoth_the_mighty
Firstly is this possible, and how? The main issue is that I wish for a little waterfall in the throne room of the mod I'm building, the problem lies in that I cannot, no matter the light source used, get the waterfall visible in game or TESCS unless under "Bright Light" in the "World" drop down menu. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/squig/TESForum/CastleUTMThroneWaterfallissue01.jpgUnder bright light... http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/squig/TESForum/CastleUTMThroneWaterfallissue02.jpgUnder normal light... and how would one build a pool to have the waterfall pour in. Vagrant0
Make sure the object doesn't have "initially disabled" checked. Make sure that the waterfall does not have any transparent surfaces in front or behind. Make sure the waterfall is only 1 object, and not 2 objects which are at the same location. The game engine doesn't support 2 semi-transparent meshes in front of eachother, and will often make both vanish. In the CS, semi-transparent objects are always harder to see without the bright lighting on. For making a pool, you can't use real water without making the entire cell have water at that same height. If creating a new mesh isn't an option, the waterfall foam or one of the static water resources (do a search) is normally good enough to do the job. Squiggoth_the_mighty
sorry still no luck I'm afraid... could the fact that this is clipping the walls cause this?
