When installing several mods and a dialog box comes up saying that there is already a mod in that location (or something to that effect), Do you click "yes to all" and if so does that just replace the bits of the one mod with the bits of the other? Thanks for any help.

If you click "yes to all" it will overwrite any previously installed files of the same thing. I recommend following the installation instructions in the mods read me text file... if the mod author provides a read me in the folder.

There is no harm in clicking the "yes to all" especially if it's a texture pack or a replacer... like armour, weapons, body... etc. If you don't the mod will not work properly.

Looking over the read me should give you a better idea what the mod does... It's time well invested. :)

@Manefesto - it helps if you post game related questions in the forums for the particular game you are asking about. EVERY game has it's own set of forums with a forum just for asking technical questions. The newbies forum is for introducing yourself to the forums and not for technical support. I hope Carah knows what game you are asking about - because I can't tell from your post - we support mods for a lot of games here.

If I did know, I could have moved it -
