MeanMrAcid
hi all new to fallout 3 nexus been playing modded oblivion for too long so finally moved on to fallout 3 and having beat the vanilla game into the ground i went out and bought the add on packs and thought hell rather that mess around i would ask the experts on what mods work with what. I currently own fallout 3 with all the DLC appart from mothership zeta I want a disk copy not another d2d thingy. currently I,m patched to 1.7 with MMM Rc 5 and working my way through the game again, must say it much better with MMM in increased increased spawns and every thing else turn on too. I have a good computer to run more so i,m asking what do you guys think i should install i think the Ia is lacking anything that can improve it perhaps ( yes i play on very hard difficulty atm )I noticed the cube is now in english so downloading this as i type What is fook 2 ? is it a total conversion ( can i add it to the current game im playing or will a fresh install have to be done ? thanks for reading peeps look forward to the replys and views p.s i dont suffer from game crashes and can happly play fallout for hours with out fail and dont want to add a mod that will affect this

csb
Which mods are "best" is very subjective, because it is all dependent on your style of play. The good news is that the contributors to Fallout3 Nexus have pretty much covered all the bases, so it is just a matter of finding the mods that meet your play style. Look through the mods. The Top 100 list is a great place to start, as well as the Files of the Month lists. Take time to look at the mod's Comment page. What are people posting about the mod? Is the mod author responsive to suggestions/bug reports? In the Description page, what are the listed incompatibilities? All of that will help you find and determine the mods that will suit you best. Hope this helps.
