Black eyes

I have a problem. Since i installed few mods, in the game all the NPC eyes turned black, or vanished. Tried to disable ALL the mods, but nothing happend and eyes still being black. How can i fix this bug? please help me!!! :wallbash:

Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem.

 

Beautiful People was one of the early mods that changed eyes, and many of the later mods used a different technique causing a conflict resulting in strange eyes. Some race mods change the eyes while others do not.

 

Just unchecking the esp file does not remove all of a mod. It only stops the esp from loading. The mesh and texture files are still there and can cause problems.

To get rid of the you must go into the data folder, find the texture and mesh folders and go into them find ll of the textures and meshes that were installed by the mod.

 

OR if you use the OMOD file type in the OBMM program to install the mod to start with. Then disabling the OMOD will completely remove the mod, along with all texture and mesh files. AND it keeps the mod available to be easily reinstalled by enabling the OMOD again.
