Problem with adding pictures and other files

Ive been trying to make some mod requests but they r hard to do when i cant get a picture up to show people wat im asking. Every time i go to upload a pic it says that "Attachment space used 3.51MB of 1000K" and no matter how small or whatever the picture is it won't upload please help.

You can upload images to sites like photobucket and then copy url to image in "insert image"

You should rather choose to upload them at an image-share site as told before, as the amount of space to use in attachments is quite low. As you've said..it's just 1 MB. If you're using images from google or from a site it's even easier as you could just link to them and use the image button/img-tags.

so do u mean basically make a link to the images

Yes, it saves you a lot of trouble and keeps you from keeping an eye on your attachment quota.

Link of pictures off the web can be found as easily as saving them. Attachments are only useful when you've got to do something quickly, or have small file like a document or a small mod file.

 

using Img tags with the link/url in the middle.

Like

[img=http://thenexusforums.com/style_images/vrocking/folder_editor_images/rte-image-button.png]

They get added automatically when you press the http://thenexusforums.com/style_images/vrocking/folder_editor_images/rte-image-button.png button.
