ntblood
I need to update Nexus mod manager but I can never get it to sign in online to update it so that maybe my list of installed mods will stay intact. I wonder if I download NMM separately and install it, if there is any way to retain or import the existing list of installed mods so that I don't have to install all 180 mods again! It's all working well now and I'm afraid to mess with them to much :\ Thank you!
kazik97
Updating NMM does not uninstall or remove your mods, you can do it safely (and honestly you should) If you reinstall NMM and you want to keep your mods, just go to C:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\ , make a copy of Skyrim folder, reinstall, and then drop your backup copy into the same directory
ntblood
That's great. I'll get right on that. Can you tell me what is going on with NMM not being able to ever login? Will downloading it and installing the new one fix this you think? Thank you again
kazik97
Yes, updating will fix the login problem, as explained here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/news/12270/?In short, update 0.47.0 was a "forced" update- it introduced some new functionality, so you need to update to be able to log-in Edited April 25, 2014 by kazik97
