I also heard that one character from Origins was going to be in Awakening;

If you also watch the Awakening trailer closely Oghren is in it

 Of all the characters.

I would have thought the one character they announced that would be in it would be Morrigan.

Or maybe you 'team up' with Morrigans Son/Daughter like you do with Alistair in DA:O not knowing 'of' them

but how could an unborn child grow so quickly... Hmmmm

Just a possibly don't know.

Maybe i'm just halucinating and it's actually a completely different dwarf in armour

BUT!

You have to admit that Oghren, Is a funny ass character.

Oghren: -hysterical laughing - 'ASSLESS CHAPS, HAHHAHA'

I never liked Anora. First time that my character had to deal with her, I wished that I could grab her and shake her till her teeth rattled. The thing I dislike most about her is that she is ALWAYS wringing her hands!!! Like she's constantly nervous!!

Again tho, Anora is one of those characters where it depends on what you do, and what you say.

LOL at first, I was gonna go ahead and marry her, then have Zev pay her a visit sometime when I have a viable alibi!

Its funny, I was actually trying to dig around for info on which character will be showing up in awakenings. So far, nothing conclusive, but the general feel is that it's gonna be Alistaire as the main one that shows up. He's in just too many of the scenes. Tho they've admitted that others will be showing up, just not as permanent members. So that could be why you may or not be seeing Oghren.

As much as I would like to see her in the expansion, I don't think that Morrigan will play a very active part in it. Just too soon for her to resurface, as the plotline with that kid of her's hasn't had time to ripen.

Oh! Energy, I came across a trailer where they had the player battling the "Children" in their larval forms! And one of the Children is one of the intro characters in the new Awakenings Trailer. Still not a lot of info about them or their origins tho :(

They've released a little bit of info on one of the new party members (or somebody leaked it). damned if I can remember his name, but he's a mage. a runaway apostate, who has a pretty big grudge against the Tower and the Templars. He's kind of the Anti-Alistaire. where his comedy is supposed to be of a bit darker nature.

Yeah woops forgot about Alistair.

I just assumed that he would resume his duties as king,

obviously he would be in the game but not as a perma member ofthe party like you stated before,

With the whole save game importing thing,

I'm just confused as to what happens if

Spoiler [Just in case.]

Alistair leaves your party at the gathering if you choose to put Loghain through the joining, does he still become king?

Obviously he's king in the trailers, that much is evident,

But wouldn't itt be weird? you know?

nope, he

sinks into a really bad depression and ends up getting arrested for public drunkedness. no idea what happens to him after that, I'm afraid

if you let loghain live, that is. My guess is that he would eventually get his act together,

in the months that pass between DA:O and awakening.

I could see that there could still be some awkwardness there, if Loghain was still alive at the ending of the game.

But truth be told, I thought that Loghain was an arse, and took great delight in his death. tho was sadly disappointed at how easy he was to beat.

Funny, he's actually harder to beat if you fight him before the one on one, than he is during the one on one.

Pardon me as these sentences don't make complete sense but bare with me.

Alistair and Anora eventually get together and rule on a united front. My guess, Morrigan's plan did happen and you didn't die. Alistair can also in one situation become king and leave the party when you recruit Loghain. The new party member's name is Anders and yes there is limited texts about 'The Children' but we do see what they look like.

No news on the character from Origins then?

I would have hoped that it was Lelina who's in it.

Because the relationship doesn't seem to have any severe downsides like

Morrigan and her sudden need to be impregnated then running away with your basterd god child

If you talk to Lelina at the end of the game after the battle she hints that she would stick around

But then again it says that the party eventually disbands in the credit like things.

GAWD DAMNIT SO MANY POSSIBILITIES :wallbash:

Unfortunately it is either Alistair or Oghren by the look of it, which is understandable seeing that most of your party has move beyond Ferelden at this point. Zevran maybe if the choices are right but the rest no. Alistair is king and Oghren is a commander and has cleaned up his act.
