Ok, so I can write a good story and already have a few ideas for a mod of sorts. Yet, I don't know how to mod myself; I fiddled with the toolset for hours, and almost managed to make an in-game item until I got the scripting part. Ugh..

 

Nevermind that, though. I am interested in recruiting a group of modders who could interpret my ideas into a fully functioning mod. Got me, eh?

 

If anyone one is interested, I could post a few ideas in the thread, but I'm gonna wait until I see some genuine interest first.

Eh, guess I'll go ahead and post my idea. Might bring in some people.

 

Ferelden is at peace; as the blight has finally ended, the archdemon slain. As peace returns to Ferelden, an island far out at sea begins to face its own problems. The island had always been peaceful, founded by a group of unlucky souls that managed to shipwreck on the island. That was decades ago, and the islanders have grown fond of the quiet of their small little community.

 

When an ancient map is discovered marking its secret location, explorers flock to the island. The islanders want nothing to do with their new visitors, but they can't force them to leave. They do warn them though, of the undead spirits and savage beings that roam the island. But of course, the explorers didn't listen. They managed to go wake some undead spirit that wants nothing more than to annihilate everything.

 

Now, that's just some typical cliche story, I know. Now, this is where it gets interesting. The island begins...to change. When the spirit is awakened, the island itself begins to take on a mind of its own. It begins to spread its own diseases, its own horrors. The undead spirit begins to become a minor threat when the island rips open a portal to the Fade, and the demons begin to filter in. Now, you must travel to the island and stop the demons, destroy the spirit, and stop the island once and for all.

 

KK, end story. Needs a bit more fleshing out in my opinion, but I'll get to that later.
