Custom Classes?

I've just started to dig into the toolset after planning my mod quite carefully.

 

This is not really a big problem, but i would really enjoy if it was possible to create a custom class. It would bring even more freshness to the mod.

It is possible. It is a more in depth mod, but it can be done and several of the larger mods are doing it. You can also create new specializations, as my Arcane Archer mod is doing.

I've been looking for it but i can't find how to do it :/ mind giving me a a few clues or something?

 

Most of the core work is in the 2da files. Those files define the classes and abilities.

 

Then you just need to write or modify the scripts to go along with them.

Sounds like something that's a long way from a thing i can do! but i will dig into it.

 

I am about to prepare a example for that - new specialization with 3-6 abilities (3 differnt ones - maybe 2 ranks each) - will post here again once i fineshed it.

No tutorial though - that requires a bit more time + with the bugged talktable atm it just wouldn't be complete (unless somone figured that out allready)

I've been too busy writing tutorials to really dig into my project much so far, but its good to see that it actually does work with the UI. I though it would, but wasn't 100% certain.
