Mod name: Plain Paper Fix ckl

 

Mod description: This is my attempt at fixing "paper" in morrowind. As it is you have to "read" it every<br>time--even though it's blank. This is my alternative to dej's plain paper fix because<br>his alters the id of the paper. This made it incompatible with a few other mods I've <br>played that require the game's paper to make other items. Since the ID was changed, you<br>could have been holding 100 of his papers and not been able to take part in those other <br>mods activities. Anyways, I did NOT simply take his mod and rename everything. Everything<br>was done by scratch from me. Even while playing the other version I sometimes came across<br>the original paper in lvled loot boxes. With my mod the original paper is still in the game.<br>You will still have to read it if you ever come across any. However, the only way you will<br>ever find any paper laying about is if you, yourself, dropped it there while you were playing*.<br>This has to be done this way in order for it to be compatible with other mods that require paper.<br>I have simply replaced every piece of paper laying in the world with a different piece with a<br>script attached saying to give the player a piece of normal paper while bypassing the "blank reading"<br>book screen!<br>*or if you're playing a mod that adds paper--that I can do nothing about as there are 1000s of mods<br> and I would need to create a patch for each separate one.
