Need Help On Tes

Im a newb to moding and cant figure out how to make weapons or new races. every time i try all i can do is make the statistics but i cant get it to acculy have an image. Is the a program that lets you do this or no.

In order to know how to create a new race, you'll need to know how to create new objects.

 

Creating new objects: Click on a similar object to the one you want to make, then click its ID. You should be able to change it. When the dialog box asks if you want to make a new item, click "Yes". Now, find your new item's ID and double-click on that. Zow! A dialog box pops up allowing you to change its in-game name, stats, and most importantly, inventory icon and model (NIF file). Just click on the appropriate button and hunt a suitable one.

 

Creating races is more complex. As well as knocking up the stats, you have to assign/copy Body Part objects to your new race. How d'you do that? Easy. You create a new body part much the same as any new object: duplicate an existing one, change its race assignment and, if you want, NIF file. (I learned this when attempting to create a new breed of Orc.)

 

If you want all-new models, the magic words to Google are Milkshape (or Blender), and "NIF plugin". 'S your funeral.
