Retribution
I realize that these things take time to make, and the game hasn't been out for that long, and people need time to get used to the toolset, but I'm surprised that there aren't any new models or textures yet for things such as weapons, armor, or bodies. I'm curious why it's taking so long.

I'm curious why it's taking so long. As for new models, its because the tools don't exist to do it yet. As for textures, there are some, but the way the game is set up its rather complex to do. Most people are just changing existing textures instead.
reece22345
and plus, scripting a program that runs in tandem with the toolset and imports/exports and 3DS Max or Maya its just.... so hard lol
sickman1968
Unlike the NWN2 toolset, there isn't any tools in the DA:O toolset that allows to change armor pieces that I have found anyways, only preset pieces with a multiple choice of design. Wish there were, then making cool looking armor sets would be cake (like in NWN2). Otherwise it takes skill with Maya or 3DS Max and those are...above my pay grade
jwvanderbeck
I'm really hoping community tools will be showing up soon to allow the import of at least static models from 3d packages.
FletchWars
I've been spoiled by Bethesda toolkits =) I have no desire to learn c+ c++ c+++ c- c= c# c@ or c-wtf to add a sword or spell I want. So gluck modders, and may the coding be with you!

zephyre12
Nice, I'll have to check that out. Haven't been able to integrate anything made in cheetah into the game because bioware really doesn't want to lose that money :/ I get all sorts of issues. But something inside the toolset would definantly rule, finally able to make something new XD
