Point Lookout Rebalanced

Right now I'm working on a mod to make Point Lookout a mid-level adventure like the Pitt rather than a poorly balanced, super-powered stimpack consumption fest with mini-nuke resistant mutant rednecks and tribals with hunting rifles that ignore power armor.

 

So far I've lowered the Swamp Folk to a more... mortal level of durability, I've removed the 35 point damage buff, I've declawed the Swamp Lurk queen to Mirelurk king levels, I'm working on making the tribals more in line in difficulty with standard raiders, and I powered down the Feral Ghoul Reaver to something less ridiculous.

 

Anything else that should be dealt with?

no idea but i fully suppor this idea as long as they aren't nerfed to much

 

They're going to be valid mid level threats. They're going to be nerfed by most standards, but mostly I think that's due to how over powered they were to begin with. I'll be bringing them in line with the creatures you find in the pit or the capitol wasteland.

 

I might also change the weapons list for the tribals a bit because I simply can't see a primitive tribe having that many combat knives.

 

Does anyone know a good, primitive looking machete mod? Or maybe one that adds a decent looking classic F1/2 style spear?
