Placing weapons in the render weapon and picking them up ingame?

Hey everyone, I've got a weird issue. I'm thinking I'm probably missing something simple, but here's my issue. As a part of a quest of my mod there's a weapon involved, a knife. I can place it into the area I created (interior) and on the floor, in the render window. However, ingame I can't pick it up. When I locate it I only get the 'steal' option, not even the weapon's name underneath. I press and press but I can't pick it up like any other object.

Anyone willing to help out a noob here? :P

No matter, it only affected a specific weapon for some reason, so I created a new form and everything worked out.
