No show helmets

As far as I know when the helmet model is equipped by the character but isn't rendered by the game it just results in floaty eyeballs where the head should be. effectively, if you delete the helmet morph, it some substitutes for the head morph and the game can't "back-render" to the original head morph. Thus, you get the visual problem.

 

There may be a work around but I'm not quite sure on the specifics, may involve some engine coding as to how the engine recognises equipped armor. That or you could wait until we've developed a tool that allows us to import a mesh that you can change to be invisible.

 

Might I suggest that if you want the attributes of the helmet but don't WANT the helmet to show on the character then transfer the same stats to something like a ring? that would at least be a temporary, pretty decent hotfix for what you want.
