asdasdsuper
Since I have not committed any good mods to the community, this project will be my thank you gift to everyone at the nexus forums. With my knowledge and experience with Blender, I am going to * TRY * to create skeleton that would fit almost every armor, making a, for example, kevlar vest animated, like running the vest would bob or the gun on the back would bob. I do believe this is possible, people would just have to attach it to the bone name like bone:accessorybackright w/e. I just need to know what other tools ( besides blender ) I will need to create this. EDIT: Is their a limit on the number of bones? Because my research on modern day armors and futuristic fan art armors makes it ALOT of bones for animations.
ecksile
blender nifskope and the nifscripts should be enough i believe. Talk to breeze he made a full animation rig and id suggest adapting your skeleton to his rig. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8225
asdasdsuper
Thank you very much, the vanilla skeleton was impossible. I will update this thread AFTER thanksgiving, cause I will be with family. Happy holidays!
ecksile
I don't think so. They are simply references for animation. If they aren't weighted they aren't used i don't think or at least sit idle. I have another reference for you as well i will pm you.

Just making sure. Im used to warcraft 3 modding o.o

Skree000
The bouncing/moving breast mod has bones that have a bit of an offset/delay from the chest cavity, causing things to bob... perhaps this sort of thing is what you are looking for for Gun bobs. Check out those mods for clues on how they did it! :)
