Using Any NPC Model As PC?

I figured posting here would be a safe bet.

After seeing the new faces for Morrigan and Leliana (Link below), there's a line in there thanking a person on how to move a head over to the companion.

My question however, is about full size bodies for PC. There is this NPC in Redcliffe (Tavern) named Bella, and her model is perfect for my Female Human Mage, but I can't seem to duplicate it in the Character creation menu.

Is there a way to obtain that preset so we can use it as a PC?

Also not just her, but for any NPC?

If this would be even possible, of course.

You have to open your faces.erf in C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\packages\core\data folder in the toolset, then find the face ".mor" file that you want...

Then you open up your save file ".das" and put that morph as your character's morph.

Doing it this way, you can't easily change anything except like hair, hair color, eye color, lip color & skin color... the other things are very confusing values...

I don't know if there's another way or not.

I'll have to give that a shot, thanks. :)

How about extracting a PC face from a save and using it in another save?

This is what I'm most interested in.

But, alas, whenever I try to open a .das file in the toolset, all I get is an 'out of memory' error, so I can't even try.

Cause the toolset can only allocate a set amount of memory. Try opening an earlier save, like the first one you have for that character and it should open.

But, there is no morph saved in there for you to use, unfortunately.
