this is where you unzip fomm into you main fallout 3 folder

then all you need to do is open the folder and make a Shortcut to your desktop, you install Fose in the main folder as well NOT the data folder this will stop fomm or fose from working

as you can see on my screenshot, i did install fomm in fallout 3 main directory and not in data.

About the FalloutPrefs.ini, it is here, i tried to switch full screen to window but the problem remains. I guess the only solution is to uninstall .net..

crap. I was hoping for that kudos point :(. I bet 30 kudos points that it has something to do with the falloutprefs.ini, (something wrong with it), or your display drivers. When fallout3 flickers and doesn't work giving you no error message it is generally due to a video driver problem, or that it does not have the right path set up.

Did you by any chance move your fallout3 folder? perhaps you need to re-setup the path to fallout3 correctly?

In the FOMM thread, it has been noted that AVG may in some instances view the FOMM installer as a virus. You could try to (temporarily) disable your antivirus, download the latest version of FOMM, install and run it. If it works, it's the antivirus screwing around with you.

I have the same problem here i think it is the windows xp updates because i cant use fomm or the oblivion mod manager or any other mod manager for that fact :(

would be nice if some one could say which update it was (if it is the updates)

oh and to mrfranswa its not those files because i have those files there too and fomm was working untill a little while ago
