ptbptb Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 I don't like the Arena battles being always to the death. Apart from being nasty, it's also unrealistic. There must be dozens of battles a day and they still have no problem recruiting volunteers to fight?? I can think of a couple of possibilities - make combatants 'essential' and they win when one is unconscious or at 10% hit points try to surrender (which could be accepted or not). In the latter case there could still be deaths when the last blow happens to deliver too much damage - probably that would be most realistic. I have no idea how difficult such a mod would be, but if it isn't too hard would anybody be interested in making it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
strikerdes Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 when you say "There must be dozens of battles a day and they still have no problem recruiting volunteers to fight??" you have to remember, loads of people would be trying to get in the arena. as the blademaster of the arena says "dont get to call many people brawler" meaning he normally gets just common folk with an axe or whatever, trying to get to the top. Arena pays alot of money, and theres plenty of poor common folk or just common travellers. so i do actually believe there would be hundreds of people trying to join. but i think this mod could be done, i cant do it personally.
