GECK saving problem

I've got a rather unusual problem with my copy of the GECK.

 

I've got a fair amount of experience with the Morrowind Editor, so I knew what to expect, and everything is working fine except for one thing - I can't access any of my saved .esp files from anywhere except the GECK. Using GECK, I can open up any of the three or four I've done for practice, but they don't show up anywhere else - not in FOMM, not in the Data Files box in the launcher, not even in the fallout 3/data folder on my hard drive (even though that's where I told it to save).

 

Even running a search of my entire hard drive for the files, I come up empty.

 

Does anyone know what's going on with this? I've tried reinstalling the GECK, deleting and resetting my preferences, and nothing works.
