Paying off highwaymen

This is a suggestion for a simple adult (but not necessarily explicit) script change for highwaymen.

 

When stopped by a highwayman and your character doesn't have 100 gold (or doesn't want to pay it) he, or she, could offer to 'pay with their body'.

 

The simplest system would be to always give a 'yes' if the highwayman was male, and the character female.

 

A more complicated system could include one or more of the following parameters:

 

- Personality based bonus.

- Highwayman has 'sexuality' set at random (say, 85% straight, 10% gay, 5% bisexual).

- Penalty for female highwayman with male character (because stereotypically they would have less trouble getting some anyway ;-).

 

Extras:

 

- Chance of catching something nasty.

- Chance that highwayman welches on his / her deal and demands money afterwards anyway.

All highwaymen are male and khajit, wearing fur armor... Not exactly someone to feel attracted to nor threatened by. Although mods may change this, you can't really implement such a system like this that would work with actors which are not part of the mod. Although making new highwaymen to work with such a system could be done, the question remains "why?". Highwaymen are an annoyance and and are often best used as a way of getting that NPC murder you need for the DB without killing anything useful. The voice track only exists for male khajit anyway.

 

Even if you really, truely felt that the world needed yet another mod which aims at bringing sexual content into a game which already offers more than it should, this is probably not worth the effort. Essentially, what you'd have to do is go out of your way to add depth and meaning to an aspect which is lacking... then stomp all over it by adding a sex option. Although I'm of the opinion that there is already too much of this kind of garbage lying around, it doesn't change the fact that there would be a fair amount of real work which would need to be done to accomplish this idea. Have to remember, someone who likes this idea probably won't be satisfied with just a simple blackout and message saying what happened, and to do anything else requires rather specific skill.
