Problem finding .esp's?

My mod has been finished and now I am trying to put it up on TESNexus. But I have a rather large problem...

I can't find the data files. I have enabled "Show Hidden Files" and checked in Program Files/Bethseda Softworks/ Oblivion/Data and Documents/My Games/Oblivion.

Should it be there? Should it be somewhere else? Or is it just missing?

P.S. My OS is Vista Ultimate.

Daniel

THIS ONE!

If for some reason you don't feel like re-installing FO3 (and who would blame you, it gets really old after the first few times) like Zumbs suggested, and if the Run As Administrator (and setting compatibility mode to Windows XP) doesn't work (and it just might!), then you'll need to go to Microsoft's site ... either the usual www bit or, preferrably their Microsoft Developer Network site and search Vista UAC, Vista User Account Control or just User Account Control.

If the KB articles and forums don't pan out, you can set up Fallout3 (or FOMM/FOSE, depending on what utilities you have installed) to run as a network service. UAC seems to trust network services  ... but I would recommend this just ahead of the link's "Disable UAC" solution ... you really, really, really don't want to disable UAC in Vista or Windows 7!

Which leaves you with Zumbs' recommendation ... suck it up and re-install Fallout3 to a non-Program Files directory. I'd recommend that for any game, not just Fallout3 or Oblivion.

Hope this helps.

Well I don't want to have to reinstall. I might do if no other ideas pop up. I'll just put saves and downloaded mods into temporary folders.

There are only two solution

1 Re-install

2 disable UAC

Then how do I save the mod from deletion? If I un-install it then surely my mod will disappear too?
