Razbojnik666
Hey guys!I felt a urge to play Oblivion today, so I installed it again on my pc.I however wanted it to be a bit different then vanilla oblivion, so I found this site so I could download some mods for my game.I knew oblivion had many mods, but THIS many?! Wow! I'm looking for something that makes the game more beautiful.. Like eyecandy! You know, better textures, better (and more realistic) characters, better whether system etc etc.. Hope you can help.. I'm a total noob on this mod-stuff! /Raz

It makes a difference as to what you can run sensibly.
Vagrant0
Generally, people start off with a few large base mods and then just add to it. If you're looking for a new experience that doesn't require a whole lot to get setup, I would suggest starting off with OOO, Midas Magic, Illumination within, crowded roads and cities. If your system can handle that, it should help make the game seem almost entirely new and still leave many options for additional mods that enhance things visually. It will also help serve as a decent base to which you can add other, more specific mods. Although FCOM would allow for even more variety, it can be rather troublesome to get working right. For someone who's used to Vanilla Oblivion, OOO is the closest single overhaul to the leveling system you're familiar with.

This will allow you to install OMOD format mods. You will also need this to manage your load orders, unless you run into problems, the load order should be in the same order posted here.http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097 Base mods: Unofficial Oblivion Patch http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296 Midas Magichttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9562 OOOhttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2528 Illumination Within (working version I think)http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3700 Crowded Roadshttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4820 Crowded Citieshttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6665 *Although better cities is a good alternative to crowded cities or open cities, it can be tough for a new user to get working.
