Kill001
Well, since you've read the title, you can probably guess what's wrong with my armor: The armor basically, GLOWS. It's very easy to tell whether it's glowing or not because I have Fellout and when I have EnclaveCommander drop off guys with WT-51bs, it GLOWs, but doesn't leave ambient light. I swear, when I look at the guys with T-51bs at night, I can see them from about 200 meters away. When I see them in daylight, it is still very easy to tell that they are glowing Also, when I grab winterized T-51bs and drop them on the ground, it doesn't glow So, I've tried deleting ALL the texture files for the winter T-51b and the meshes (which I had for some reason, even though I only got reskins for it) file as well The skin I got was the Winterized DX skin by Weijiesen Any ideas, gents? deepside
i read on a other forum about the same problem. it was a conflict of a texture from a mod , maybe the one you mentioned .he changed his to the normal textures and the problem was solved.here,s probably the solution. Are you sure you don't have some mods that change the textures of the armor, and you accidently removed the texture file? Or have you turned your ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! off? Always use FOMM, if you are using it, then maybe start the game with no mods made by the community and reload the same save game. If there are problem still exists then maybe you should download that changes the armor texture a lil bit or a texture you like and then load it with that mod. It should fix the prob. But if loading the save game with no mods fixes the texture problem, then keep adding the mods you used to use one by one and then when you hit the mod that makes the armor look like that, then that's the mod that makes your textures mess up. Or it could be a conflict between the mods. Most likely its a mod that changes the armor/s. So try to find their read me files or search those mods in google again for the mod description. If you are loading 2 mods that change the same armor texture then it is probably a mod conflict that messes it all up. If there are 2 mods that change the same armor, but you still want to use em, then you should remove the armor change from one of the mods by doing it in GECK or open FOMM go to Plugin Editor , then open one of the mods you want to change and it should put it in FOMM's Plugin Editor. then press on + to see all the parts the mod changes - look for the "GROUP [ARMO]" find the T51-B and delete it from there, the save the esp with same name (overwriting it) or with a new name (recommended) if you want to keep the original file too. Hopefully you understood as I wrote this while talking to my brother, lol Yeah, understood!! Ok, so after reinstalling the game, I found a mod that altered the original t51b, making it look newer. I dont know why, but this mod altered the look of the winterized one too... I altered the mod with the FOMM using your instructions, so I will be able to have it installed and to enjoy a normal winterized!!Well, it's fixed now!! hope this one helps a bit
Kill001
hmm... I seem to have forgotten to install some required meshes from the mod page BUT the helmet is still glowing... D:
deepside
maybe the helmet is now the only part that is conflicting with another mod. if you can try to look if there is a mod that could cause the problem. disable it and see if you still got the problem. the guy in my post reinstalled but it should be easier to check wich mod has it by dissablingand when im right it should be fixed. then enable one by one.so you can find the mod that makes the conflict.sometimes mods changing things without mentioning in the description.hope this works for you
