Maybe it's just me but I used FOMS 2 to sort my load order and it's decided on the most ridculous load order. Check it out. Clearly it doesn't take a genius to realise this isn't even CLOSE to being a good or even correct loadout. So what the hell is FOMS2 doing? I thought this program was supposed to determine a good loadout for FOMM? I wouldn't expect it to be PERFECT but as you can see it's not even close. Having CORE esms AFTER esps? So I guess my question to anyone reading this is, what the hell is FOMS2 claiming it helps with loadout for, am I missing something? Becuase if you ask me this program sucks. Okay maybe I do... yeah sure you can have an auto sorter All you would need to do is take the 10,000,000 mods on nexus, an other sites then read into them with FO3edit to see what they do an how each of them conflict with one another, then come up with a formula which will determine All of the possible load orders from those 10,000,000 mods, an then all you need is to develop an AI program that can make good choices on how to avoid CTD city... it's not going to happen, maybe if there were only 100 mods on nexus, but there's not anymore. You can do it two ways 1. read stuff, follow the rules about load order, use FOIP stuff. 2. learn how to use FO3edit, then you can load anything anywhere with anything else you wanted. They're both hard work... Something that might help, is it's best to keep it simple. If you haven't got a lot of in game time recently taking on a big task like building a 200+ mods load order is only going to drive you mad A few easy to use key mods is simple an fast an gets you playing which you can build on and slowly work toward 200+ For the most part, you learn as you go, an you start out not knowing anythingso it's hard to use some of this poop at first. Later on it's still hard to use it. But you have more tricks an know more. I've done maybe 10 installs, maybe 15 different configurations.
