mybuzz
I put the mods I downloaded onto C:Program files-Bethesda softworks-Oblivion-Data. But they dont show up on the Data Files list on oblivion. Can someone please help me, nobody has been trying to help me. You made four separate new topics discussing one trouble, that is spam. Stick to one thread, if you don't know how to track your recent posts, be sure to check your Private Messages. -myrmaad Edited November 29, 2009 by myrmaad
Micko
You have to extract the .esp from the file you download with 7zip or something, don't put the whole file there.
bben46
I have already answered in a PM, and another post. Please keep your question in ONE thread. Scattering it all over the board will just cause confusion. You might try searching the forum first, I answer this at least once a day.And as this is a forum, and not an instant messaging site, please have a little patience. We are not all online 24/7 My first guess is you are using Vista or Win7 For Vista related problems such as UAC, Check here: http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=262. My second is you are putting the compressed file in without unzipping it (all mods are compressed and must be uncompressed before using) I have a set of help files for people who are not computer geeks and are new to mods. They include downloading, extracting (unzipping) installing and activating mods. I have included a simple mod to practice on and instructions for installing and using 7-zip. If you are interested, click on the highlighted link below to be taken to the site where they are kept. I recommend starting with #1 and working your way through them. http://s1.zetaboards.com/TheStormRavenLibrary/forum/256092/ If you use them I would appreciate some feedback as to what needs improvement and what works for you. My third is you are using a console and not a PC. Sorry, won't work.
