Bleolakri Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 I've been unsuccessful over the past few hours figuring out how to add a texture to an item via nifskope. And I'll admit I do not know 100% of what I'm doing, everything I've been doing to all of my blends been hit and miss... I got more incomplete than I do complete, but this one appears to be close to be finished, I'd love to have ya'lls help, or comments or suggestions.When I try Blender it gives me an error stating "Non-UV texture in mesh "OBJECT ID", material "Material". Either delete all non-UV textures, or in the Shading Panel, under Material Buttons, set texture "Map Input" to "UV". So saying that and how new I am to all of this... I'd like to stick to nifskope for placing my textures when I'm able to place them all but one that is animated...I've tried inserting the BSShaderPPLightingProperty and BSShaderTextureSet to its branch and even copied the branches of one of the other textures into the branch the blade resides in. It'd either stay or for some reason it'd jump to the end, but none of the ways I tried worked. I modified the 1stpersonlaserpistol.dds to get it to look somewhat right for the weapon itself, but its still a work in progress as well, but when I'm in photoshop how do I get it right? Bleolakri Posted November 30, 2009 Author Share Posted November 30, 2009 I finally got it all textured myself, now its doing something else... anyone out there know how to make it animate while it is in use (attacking)?
