Let's play a creepy dress-up game with an elf girl

This is Freya. She is an immortal Cute Elf from the Bruma region that I modified to use Mint Adenade's voice from the PS1 version of Tales of Phantasia. She is a Valkyrie: a custom class I made by basically throwing together the seven major skills that I personally find the easiest to grind. These skills are Blade, Marksman, both Heavy and Light Armor, Athletics, Acrobatics, and... Merchantile, I think. Maybe it's Speechcraft, since it's got that stupid spinning circle mini-game that you can abuse. It's been a while since I checked, though, since I eventually just set everything to 100 through the command console.

 

Anyway, Freya has been wearing the same bizarre and out-of-era Lili outfit (this can be verified in the above picture and here) for the past few months and, due to her ceaseless crusading against mudcrabs, ogres, trolls, Daedra and mudcrabs, she's starting to get a little smelly. As soon as I finish installing one of the completely storage-wasting and pointless hot springs mods that I'm sure exist somewhere, I will need find her some new attire. This is where you can help me, Talesforum.

 

Do you think I should give Freya the outfit of a full-fledged scout? Should I dress her up as a Twilight fangirl, or should she be a Twilight fangirl assassin? Should I pretend she's that one character from that one game Namco made that one time, or should I just play it safe and throw something that's basically a recolored version of an outfit that already exists in the game on her? Someone on another board also recommended this to me, but I'm out of ideas of how to pose this sentence in the form of a question so yeah.

 

Or do you have something completely different to suggest?

 

Conditions:

- Basic HGEC / Exnem body frame. Nothing that's going to turn her into either a hilariously unbelievable boob monster or a Futurama Amazon.

- Nothing ridiculous that's going to give her giant wings or horns or some crap while she's wearing it.

- Nothing that's going to override every instance of vanilla armor in the game. I hate when all the female NPCs wearing Elven Armor suddenly have cleavage visible with cookie cutter idealized fantasy Barbie Doll proportions. Only Freya is allowed to do that because she's my sad idealized Barbie Doll.

- "Run around naked" and similar responses are not valid answers.

- "Skimpy" outfits are cute (refer to above Rogue and Rutee outfits for examples), but "hey this is so blatant and impractical it's basically a costume for a barely medieval-themed porno movie" outfits annoy me.

- If I have to go through a whole custom dungeon to get the damn thing, the mod better not affect the vanilla dungeons in any direct way, shape, or form beyond inserting ONE OR TWO new enemies. I'm gonna do a freakin' cartwheel if I run into another Hentai Mania. Dungeons that are inserted from scratch into their own area in the game world are cool, though.

- Mods that add custom armor-dedicated shops in or near existing cities are fair game.

Well, you know, it is a creepy game, so maybe that's why you haven't attracted a lot of players.

 

I do like the Underworld armor best of those choices, except for when traveling in the Shivering Isles when she'll need some shorts because, "shivering" does not refer to the weather there.

 

In that case, she should take some advice from Meris (below), and utilize that Namco game outfit.

 

But I feel really sorry for her because my ObliviBarbies always have a closet full of clothes.

 

I suggest getting everything for oblivion that Korana has made starting with this and working through the rest.

 

And the KFChapel Shop might be a fun stop for her when she's down in Black Marsh region.

Eh, too modern... except it has a recolor of that one negligee-type outfit I really wanted in Hentaimania.

You might find something she likes in there, that alt hentai Lily version in the Chapel Shop is actually just a top, which comes in handy for mixing and matching.

 

I'd suggest you reconsider anyway, as that Chapel Shop gets high marks for atmosphere alone. Even when I'm playing my male character I keep that shop in my game, there are a couple of good weapons, and the scenic photo-ops are out of this world:

Is that maybe too goth? I still don't think I get your girl's style.

 

But I know a great house near Skingrad that has a spectacular bath, since she apparently needs one.

 

Since she enjoyed that strange schoolgirl armor so much, she might get a real kick out of DesuChan's Lolita Finery, and I really like this one, but my characters tend to be ranger-like no matter what they do for a living.

 

I watched your vid and I must say your whole style of game play is "interesting". She never changed her clothes, and seems a bit psychotic. I never cheat my stats personally, part of the fun of the challenge for me is working them up, I practically run a spreadsheet.

Your original post was endlessly amusing for someone such as myself who just woke up. Since I read the whole thing, I figured I'll throw a few in there.

 

Going off of her Lili outfit, there may be something in Hentai's Summer Festa that may lure you in. Although from the sound of it, you may have already looked at it.

 

R18PN has a lot of high quality stuff ranging from cool to completely impossible, so you'd have to look and see if any of it is your cup of tea.

 

And if you're looking for something a bit darker but not completely game-breaking, how about Tona's Shadow Walker? Just freshly released a new version. Check out the rest of Tona's stuff while you're there; some of it is pretty cool.
