Pipboy Out-of-Control With 360 Controller

Okay, so I've got a decently modded F3, but not overdone. And I have a weird problem where when using an Xbox controller.

Either upon startup or after a loading screen or two, when I push left or right to switch tabs on the pipboy, they move lightning fast and I cant control it. I have to resort to using the Key Arrows to navigate it left and right.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

I've tried disabling all mods, pulling out all FSE files, blah blah blah. I can't seem to get it to go away, which is awful because I'd like to be able to play on my TV far away from the computer.

I've considered just simply reinstalling from frustration.

Hey if you read, its got nothing to do with sensitivity. Im talking about sliding left and right on the pipboy screen. Try it with your left and right arrow keys. My controller doesnt do that 100 percent, it just zips past tabs at light speed. I mean the actual pipboy, with a controller. Not the main title or escape screen with a mousem

hold on, allow me a few moments to make a screen shot to show where you need to fix it.

Sorry in my original post, I was working over the weekend and was quickly browsing my phone with slow internet to see if someone replied. I was tired and frustrated, and I thought you were just trolling and saying "Hur hur hur just chagen ur moose sped dumb." with the screenshot, but I must have missed the text you put on it.

Keeping the sensitivity at 2 bars fixed it for me. Thanks a lot.

Our world, the one you and I live in is at a point in time where frustration seems to "cull" every ones minds ,war breaks out and it filters down into our posts,

I take no offense because I am conscious of this fact. I have kid's,

Frustration is my middle name.

Your response is expected, fast, to fast. Modern toy's are to blame as well.

I get this a lot here. Fallout 3 and fallout New Vegas are simple games, similar in design but are defiantly not the same. in one way they are, but deep in the confines of structure, coding, they are not.

All use xbox,PS3,PC and I think 2 others basic coding applications of distraction with in the bsa archives.

This includes the controller functions.

Most of Games for windows live is 100% XNA /xbox control data, this can be seen directly in the startup_menu.xml file.

so, based on the issue, seen, a simple query of that file I parsed with my eyeballs, I knew what the problem was.

Notepad ++ and it's l;latest updates can read all of fallout's codes now. every byte of information if you know what to configure with it.

If they ever decide which is quite unlikely to make a pure PC game? I would most defiantly support it. But, in all, worldly affairs seen lately, I seriously doubt much will come forth.

if it complex, know I will look into it, if it easy, I stay away. To you and most others here, the game is your interests. To me, it's the issues that cause problems that are mine.

Here a bug that is known. These two games have a settings bug that set's them apart, the keyboard assignment for activation is set to (E) in new Vegas and can not be altered "by default" where in fallout 3 you can do any thing you want.

Your device is the reason this is. It is a hard coded device setting for the controller in the game (New Vegas). it is a newer game, fallout 3 is older and used an older design device controller that could be changed, key binding.

Small insignificant fact, / bug. I read in some places Skyrims settings are also set this way.

this can be changes through editing a few files but in doing so, there is code that will trigger an offensive fight within the game as you play.

Some sort of control in steams achievement environment is responsible.

You can also write a script to change all of these things too, a Full time running script that never shuts down.

That can be Embedded into a esm or an esp form factor so you always have an inheritable mod you can rely on.

been fun.

I know this is a dead post, but I'm having the exact same problem. And adjusting the sensitivity didn't fix it. I've been searching for a solution for a week now, but I haven't found any other discussion of it. The closer I've gotten to a fix is disabling the 360 controller from the control settings, and then re-enabling it. Also, restarting the game fixes it for a while(most of the time). Yesterday, I clamped my FPS to 30 in the Stutter remover files, as recommended in one of Gopher's Youtube videos to make the game smoother if you're not consistently getting 60 FPS. That definitely made my game run smoother, and it seemed to affect the speed of the scrolling in the pipboy, but its still too fast. So I'm thinking there's an FPS setting conflict somewhere. Any ideas? Thanks.
