Finding Itemcodes for Mods (Guns)

I'm pretty new to modding. I have quite a few gun mods installed on my computer and I don't really have any troubles with them. I couldn't find a place that might suite this better but where can I find item codes for the mods I installed? Like my gun is falling apart, I happened to have sold all my scrap metal already to the melted-faced-ones. How can I get another? I'd like to give one also to my NPC. Thank you for the help with this matter.

 

Btw, I've searched but not of no avail and I've contacted the creator, or at least tried to. The creator of most of my modded weapons is HeroinZero and his inbox appears to be full ><'

You will have to install geck.

 

It's very simple to find codes for weapons in geck... Just run geck, activate mod with codes you need

When loading finishes go to weapons section, find weapon you want and hover mouse over it.

Ok. I don't have GECK yet but I will find it, plop it in and have a look around. I will post findings so maybe as to help others like myself. Thank you.

Ok, loaded GECK.

 

It's not the easiest looking thing in the world to figure out but I loaded it merely for itemcodes and I found out how to locate those.

 

After loading the data for the weapons I want itemcodes for, I hovered over them like you said and found my item codes. i wrote them down and tested them out. The prefix xx on the itemcodes was wrong however. For example, the M249 Machine gun came up in GECK as 07000EA7 but it did not load properly. I opened FOMM and found that the M249 was loaded as 0C, I tried 0C000EA7 and got my M249.
