Problem after changing an NPC's race.

I've only just delved into Oblivion modding (as there's not much else left in the game). I've found (not just in Oblivion) that the best way to get better is to just try stuff and ask questions so here I am.

I tried changing an NPC's race to Chingari and Ismelda's Demon Race, which seemed to go smoothly after figuring out that I needed to use the beast skeleton. Then I left and re-entered the cell. I found that the NPC was constantly jumping. While moving from place to place or just standing still (well, supposed to be standing still). Only time I saw it walk was while briefly going up some stairs.

I doubt anyone who has tried this and had this problem will come across here, but I do not doubt that there are people who go through the forums regularly and are SO pro at Oblivion modding that they can guess at the cause.
