no03627 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 ok well i know fallout 3 runs on my PC but recently my keyboard will not responds in game i can alt tab out but nothing else no movement no typing in new name iv tried reinstalling windows reinstalling fallout every patch and still it wont work any help at thins point would be great cause I'am really getting annoyed with this

It ended up being a mod's fault (and I spent hours and hours looking at mods in FO3Edit to resolve this ... and it didn't show up as a conflict). This may be the case here. Try disabling mods until you find the culprit (if it is indeed a mod-related problem).

Try disabling mods until you find the culprit (if it is indeed a mod-related problem). to be honest that was what i thought at first so i turned everything off then one at a tiem i turned them on till i was back at square one. next was an uninstall and reinstall tried it fresh unpatched then patched, finally i tried reinstalling windows(it needed it anyway) but still cant get the bloody thing to work.
