Sabat9
What could be causing this? (see Image) ITS NOT THE PIPBOY READIUS MOD...this was happening before i started running this totally cool mod and I actually thought the Mod had overwritten whatever was causing the issue, but it turns out it didn't. Usually I see this kind of artifacting (proper term?) after opening the pip-boy a few times, but it also happens alot when opening game menus of different types, such as containers and the exit screens...doesn't happen every single time, either. There is no other lag, stutter, or observable ill effect that happens along with it. It's purely a graphics thing. Another variation of the actual glitch effect, is the green text pip-boy menu actually appearing on screen BEHIND the hand/pipboy in the foreground. In both variations, the surroundings in which i'm standing disappear until I exit the menu. I'm thinking there's some sort of texture file snafu, or it could be a totally different problem and be my vid card . I think it's more likely to have something to do with a specific UI mod that I installed, and then didn't remove fully before installing another one over it...i've used Better UI, MTUI, BlackEnglish Pip-Boy, and New Dark Hud...and of course Pip-Boy Readius is what i'm currently running. Im using all the basic mod utilities in the correct manner, as far as i can tell... (FOMM, FOSE, FO3Edit, ArchInvalid). Vid Card is a GT9600 w/latest drivers I can post more info, such as full mod list and system specs if anyone thinks that info would help figure out what's causing this. Sabat9
hey thanks, E...this was definitely the problem. a little forums search for "antialiasing" shed even more light on the problem/solution. I never woulda thought it was something so rudimentary, but that's usually the case isn't it? BTW, I suppose this thread should be in the tech support forum, now that I'm sure it's not a problem with a mod.
