Krisis1451 Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I felt that the dog was so shadowed by the other companions. I mean he's definitely useful... But once you get to Lothering in getting Sten and Leliana, he was like.. well on the lowest rank. So I figured. Why not someone make a mod where the Dog will be with you ALL the time, like a summon animal of sorts or like Shandra in NWN2? I don't think it would be very overbalancing, and it'd be nice to have an actual personal guard when fighting darkspawn, especially if your playing a mage or archer. Since Dog wouldn't technically be a party member you wouldn't get exp for anything it kills. Unless someone comes out with a mod that grants you exp for allied kills. I know there are people tinkering with that. It might work using something along the lines of the Ranger specialization. But I haven't played a Ranger yet, so IDK.
