tety77 Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Hello.;D I 'm a noob and i was trying to créate a pants for women , i read a lot of explainations about nifscope but now i really don't know what is the problem... :blink: i have download THEC and take the lower body, i opened it with nifscope and modify the NiTriStrips into NiTriShapes, i have extract the oblivion BSA and apply the texture of Pants1 in lowerclass. when i launched the game it's work it's normal but... now i've download a texture on the web With beautifull flowers , i tryed to place this texture (i have converted from jpg to dds DTX5 with converter plus) i have specified the texture directory "@(flower symbol) Texture\cloths\créations\Pantsflower.dds" but when i launch the game the pants do not appear ...please help me to solve this, i really don't undersand what is the problem and i think this is to don't understand whitch is the main problem :wallbash: .. :thanks: for your future help . theRoadstroker Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Did you extract the normal map file from the BSA archive as well? Both are needed for the new texture to show up ingame, try look for pants1_n.dds ( if the name was pants1.dds from the one you extracted) and rename it "Pantsflower_n.dds" and put it in the same folder as Pantsflower.dds. Also you could use DTX1 instead of DTX5 .... DTX3 & DTX5 are only needed if the texture have an Alpha channel, if it dont it just almost doubles the kb size, its not much but still its friendlier on your RAM & Video RAM.
