Koriatou
Okay well, Fallout 2142, Resident Evil 5 outfits and the thigh holster mods aren't working for me. I'm not sure if they're conflicting or if I'm an idiot. For Fallout 2142, I get error exclamation points on all items. For the RE5 outfits, the textures are working but the meshes aren't. So, I turn invisible. The same for the holster mod. The holster, doesn't show up. So, when I pick one of the items up, I get an error message such as "<insert error code here> File Not Found" I do have Exenm's female body replacer, so that's not the issue unless there's a certain body type that gets added for it. I have reinstalled the mods twice but still to no avail. Any help is much appreciated! ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated has created no success with this either. I don't think Resident Evil 5 outfits are available here though...but any help is MUCH appreciated because I love the looks of these mods... mechine
S***BALLS man It's not easy. It just takes a bit of time messing with this stuff before you get good enough. I'd start by reading an following the how to install mods with DLC's which is a pinned topic on this board. I could tell you what to do but it would be 3 times longer than the pinned thread. Just about every mod will conflict with any other mod. The reason why is because we are all modding the same stuff. Sometimes it turns out clean an doesn't but for the most part it's going to conflict with other stuff. We use FO3edit to load up the whole load order, then work out any conflicts. That's not what you have I think. I think you have a install problem. Something wasn't installed right. Or you messed up, which isn't a big deal. Everybody does that, and a year later when you are making mods you still do it an make stupid mistakes, I think it's funny when it happens to me. The big RED ! triangles, mean that the system can't find the meshes or it doesn't see themmissing meshes. If you put on a outfit, an there is no mesh, or it turns you all where are my legs?I've never seen that happen, but it's the same problem as the other. If you got a new body, or a sexy one, whatever, none of the other clothing will workunless it's made for that body type. I don't use a body, but I might now that I know whatkind of clothing I like to wear, so the solution is to use it then get the clothing an use thatwhich I might do. idk The body stuff is kind of complex too, figuring it out, another reason I haven't really messed with itsince the first few times. You said "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated has created no success with this either." This worries me... For one I'm not really sure what you are talking about. Download FOMM Fallout mod manager most of the smart people use it 1. it will launch fallout 3 via FOSE if it detects FOSE 2. it will unpack the fallout 3 .bsa archives an allow us to make stuff 3. it will give you a better interface to come up an adjust load orders 4. you can apply an remove a archive invalidation invalidated via a button you toggle on or off 5. there's fancy ways to install mods called FOMOD's (I don't really use them, I prefer manual install) 6. there's still more cool stuff it can do... You'll want to install it, then come up with a load order, then toggle on the archive invalidation, then forget about it an launch the game There's a whole book full of nightmares that achive invailidation can cause, which is why we invalidated itand use the simple invalidation program which is built into FOMM, because most of us were already using FOMM anyway
