ptbptb
What really happened was the chick who was out to get rid of the rats smuggled them inside the city herself. No. Not unless she was lying (and your character was blind ;-). The chick out to get rid of the rats left rotten meat next to the hole to encourage the rats outside so they would trigger guard attacks. However, instead, they encouraged mountain lions to go the other direction down into the basement. You stalk her and watch her drop the meat - you don't see her pull any mountain lions out of her pocket. How'd she even get a starving mountain lion into her pocket in the first place? Haha, you're totally right. Had to go and play it to check, fully expecting to prove you wrong... Turns out I was remembering a conversation with a friend of mine about what SHOULD have happened. Wow. ~takes foot out of mouth~ My bad...totally. Holy...like, that is a complete shock to my memory...I could swear that...ah well. Damn...I had totally convinced myself of something that never happened. o_OApologies.
NaotaNoGo
I just don't understand how she could miss a huge hole like that in her own basement....especially when her "babies" are down there...haha. I never liked that woman...just something about her is like....UGH!!

I never liked that woman...just something about her is like....UGH!!Just a heads up, I am pretty sure that your signature is over the limits...the limits are in the avatar/sig rules thread. As far as not knowing the hole was there, I tend to think that she knows, and that she simply thought her rats were trained enough to not leave while she figured out a cheap way to fix it. But that might be me thinking up excuses for why it is the way it is.

But that might be me thinking up excuses for why it is the way it is.Maybe she wanted ventilation for the occasionally really hot Anvil afternoons? Though the two things that still make me wonder about that woman is why did she let her house get so damaged as to have a huge hole in the wall through which anything practically could get through, and how did the mountain lions get into the city itself without being noticed by someone who alerts the guards...? And certainly the rats oughtn't be the first thing the mountain lions notice upon entering the city...

I have an answer for both those questions: Catapults! :P Also, Thelas must have gone through a major change when she moved to Cyrodyll - she hated rats in Morrowind. Maybe it was just the Ash Storms. Those tend to make people grumpy...

Not to mention crazy... over rats...
