Sultericdrums
It's somewhat possible if you use the save game transfer method and then cut and paste specific properties of the NPC to the companion using TES4Edit. Not easy.

SrJoben
I did this by writing down the slider positions (Thank goodness for a mod that displayed actual numbers) and laboriously re-creating them in TES4edit. But I just learned that you can do it with WyreBash in a few seconds. It is incredibly easy. You rightclick on the .esp file you want to create the NPC in. You select Import Face.In the window that comes up select the file you want to copy the face from.Boom done. well except for probably having to reset hair and eyes. rdamstrom
I do this all the time and is not that hard. first you need an esp to put it into.if your making a custom race copy the race esp and rename it to what ever. use it to put your companion into. use wrye bash to copy the savegame to your new esp. after that you need to refer to your companion mod to finish the setuphttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368
