hobomank777
Oh well, FO3's been around for about a year so Im guessing this Idea has already been thrown around... Played the game already? Bored to tears now that you have? Most people roleplay the game. Which is to say they select a type of behavior(Junkie, Rogue, Scavenger, more info here)and stick with it throughout the course of the game and see where it leads you. What Im suggesting is a mod the limits you to the criteria of a few basic classes such as the ones shown on the link. If your a junkie, it limits you to junkie behavior so its easier for people to stay in character with their character. Mods that require you to eat and sleep instead of jabbing a stimpak into your arm everytime you get low on health would be nice too...Only problem is Im pretty sure this has been done before.... well if it has I'de appreiate it if someone would point me in the right direction... If not, discuss! ~Joey
MoreDread292
well i think its great that you're not restricted to classes in FO3 because this way you can assemble your own by choosing your perks.but if you really want it... why not just have a junkie (etc) perk that does what you're looking for?simply make it so you have a few 'class' perks that can only be chosen on your first levelup when you leave the vault. this way you'd be limited to whatever you choose.. these perks could be quite powerful compared to other low level perks, but also come with serious restrictions.for example giving you a huge bonus of 25 to sneak, unarmed and melee, and a skill cap for small guns, energy weapons and big guns at 75 in exchange for that and voilà heres your close combat stealth expert which can be upgraded to a ninja pretty soon compared to a normal player who needs quite a few levels to get the ninja perk but he will never be amongst the greatest shooters. shadowmadnezz
Real Injuries, and Primary Needs adds a lot of the elements you just mentioned pertaining to sleeping, eating, rather than relying on stimpaks to keep your self alive. You can use medical braces n all that good stuff. You have to have a certain amount of food, water in your system, and sleep or your states will diminish. you should check it out. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=834 Alternate start-Roleplayers lets you pretty much start off in the waste, as if you never were from vault 101. you get a different background, and depending on which one you pick you will have different alliances, be it raider, outcast or even talon. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1784
