Thor.
Hey everyone i have found a solution to your compatibility problems, its the Vista drivers. Download the latest xp drivers then use the xp compatibility mode to install the drivers. Do not download ALchemy it can cause issues. since windows 7 is very much like xp it'll install just fine, the media source or the other add ons that you may have install normally. repeat do not install ALchemy Duh man i never check the title till to late, my bad. I had a client come in today with the same issues as some of may have had and that seemed to work. But for some reason the audio console doesn't want to show up, like in xp i had the same problem once, scratches head?. I thought i would share the findings with you  . LOL you solve one problem and another shows up. Note this will work with all later versions that uses ALchemy. I always like to say, if it works leave it alone i should of posted this in the pinned section. Tested with a creative PCI Express X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Pronam
Yep, Alchemy specifically screws up Fallout3! After a few moments (20 seconds..) of gamepley, the game just quits working and freezes! Without alchemy..things run fine. I'm talking about the old sound blaster SE.
