I want to try playing a female for once

Partly because that's my gender. I love playing my male characters, but I've been wanting to give a female a try. But what has been stopping me for the longest time was three things, and only one of those I know I have a "fix" for, which I use. The first is the animations. I know I don't walk like that (with that weird arm bending thing), or honestly know anyone that does. Hoping someone fixed that. Then there was the boobcups. That's the only one I have a "fix" for. The third and final thing is the face. I want my character to look natural, and normal. Not like a doll. So what race would be best for that? Or would I need mods for that too?

 

Other then that I plan to have her as a spellsword since I never play with magic and want to try it, but I would also be able to keep some of my usual play style with it. Probably going to go with destruction and alteration. Probably alchemy instead of restoration though. And heavy armor and one handed are the other skills. Probably smithing and enchanting too.

Well, I also am female and prefer playing a female who is not a barbie.

While I have never found changing animations to be worth the trouble, I have found Enhanced Character Edit to be invaluable for creating a character who is interesting, striking, but not glamazon.

I also recommend looking at some of the non-glam face models, such as zzjay's Mature Skin New Lips and Navetsea's Body texture (the tase bain installer version) Also zzjays zero makeup version is nice. I tend to mix 'n' match.

 

My current character is a archer-mage. I am using Apocalypse Spells and Smart Cast for the first time--They make magic a lot more fun.

Looks like most of those only support body mods. I only use vanilla. They look nice though. Might give the magic mods a try. Some of those new spells look fun and looks like the other one gets rid of my main issue with magic: the tedious casting and swapping spells thing.

Enhanced Character edit will work with vanilla, as far as I know.

Im a guy and play a female character, because so many good MODs are out there for them. My Medusa Armor MOD for females, just passed armor rating for Daedric big time to whole set at 300 for the armor alone Legendary crafted.

You should have little to no trouble finding mods to enhance your experience. At least 3/4 of the daily mods posted here are related to female bodies and armors. Kinda sucks, really.

ECE with the option with double sliders should help you really fine tweak the features on the face

and i agree with the doll face part but vanilla with the block faces and just crooked look makes it looks like skyrim's been hit with a 5 year famine really or a horrible disfiguring disease

if you don't mind the unrealistic plastic surgery body, i'd recommend getting the cbbe skin textures. SG would make them definitely doll like, but i believe there are more subtle mods (Better Woman might be more to your taste)
