Some items in inventory disappearing?

I think this is a problem with a mod, if anyone has similar problems please tell me what mod, sorry, i just recently discovered this site so I started downloading loads of files, and .dds files, again sorry. Anyway, the main problem is that most of the items in my inventory just disappear completely, including plot items and equipment. I'm also looking into this, on what mod I was using or just installed at the time when I last had my inventory, so if I can also give info, I'll try to update this.

Oh my, that sounds quite aggravating, however , I can tell you that the mods I use haven't messed with my inventory are: natural body's, and the inventory expander(that's the mod that increases my backpack to 125).

I hope that helps narrow it down a little for you.

That sounds indeed messed up, try cleaning up this directories:

 

"\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns"

"\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\data"

"\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override"

 

To really uninstall .dazip Mods you would also need to clean your "Addins.xml" file in "\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings"

But thats risky if you dont know exactly what to delete. you can check my guide for help with uninstalling mods (link in sig)

 

I would advise you to try to uninstall the .dazip mods you have installed with DAModder, thats the easiest way: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=286

And then clean out the override folder manually.

That should get rid of all installed mods. But be carefull with original DLC, if you delete that you may have to redownload it.

 

ALSO if you have the toolset installed that could cause additional complications,

but i really dont know where to start to look for errors with the toolset because i dont have it installed.

Ok, sorry for the wait, I tested a few files, this could be a different problem, I tried testing with mods that changed gameplay like the... I won't mention it yet to avoid any conflicts or, if I'm wrong, "destroying the public image" or falsely accusing or something, of the one who created the mod, because I thought I had it, but then after another save I noticed my inventory dropped from 50/110 to around 23/110. Another thing, i posted a topic somewhere and a reply said it could just be a patch that I didn't update to or something, I'll try that if I can figure it out.

I have the same problem and I'm looking to lose about 20 hours of gameplay rolling back to fix it. Lol. Anyone know a way to just "fix" everything back to how it should be? Will removing all my mods then reinstalling the game with DLC content work?

 

I noticed something was wrong when I want to fight the High Dragon on the mountain. The bloody horn to summon her was gone. I then looked at my counter and I was at 39/110 when I could have sworn I was just at 100/110 an hour prior.

 

The only change I can recall making to the game during that time was respeccing Wynne.

 

And just now I put Shale back in my party after doing a mission in Denerim and for some reason his defense is stuck at 0, no matter what I do.

I was also using the JBtextures mods 1,2, and 3 with Armor and terrain Very High packs. I deleted them though after I started having some serious lighting issues in areas where sunlight streams through trees and appears as white shafts of textureless nothingness. If let linger too long the screen would eventually go all crazy and game would freeze. I was using all the texture packs for the Very High settings for about a week before I experienced this issue in the Forest fighting the werewolves.

 

Anyway, I hope we can narrow this down and get a fix going.
