ptbptb
First NPC I talked to in Hackdirt (Jiv Hiriel) had no dialogue options (just the 'persuasion' and 'close conversation' buttons). After then it was the same with any other NPC, even in different towns. Going back to an earlier save 'fixes' the problem (except for the game play time lost) but leaves me with no guarantee it will not happen again. Any ideas on what caused it, what might fix it? Note that I had not installed any new mod recently. David Brasher
Have you been to the Shivering Isles lately? Shivering Isles sometimes causes strange dialog problems. But I guess the timing doesn't seem right, unless you went straight to Hackdirt.

bben46
Here is an easier way to post your mods - you don't have to type them all in this way. It also automatically shows the load order and does not list any mods that are not active. How to post a Load order list article http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=
ptbptb
Here is an easier way to post your mods - you don't have to type them all in this way. Actually, no, that isn't easier. I have all my mods - installed, tried out then uninstalled and to be tried - listed in an Excel worksheet. The is auto-generated by Excel formula so I only need to type the name once and copy 'n' paste the URL into Excel once. I currently have 207 mod details stored in this way and I often find myself pasting the URLs back into the browser from the worksheet so I can check something. So it actually saves me time (quicker than looking stuff up again with search).
Eadwulf
Did the dialogue boxes happen to say "I HAVE NO GREETING" (no audio or face animation) when you spoke to the NPCs?
